Rise and Shine! Coffee, Black or White?

Eventually, early each morning , with some assiduous effort on my part, a Feeder can be roused from their morning slumber (don't they know it's my Labor Day, every day)?

Once they're awakened, I have some time. Sprint to the kitchen, jump in the box atop the refrigerator, and duck. Then, await the unsuspecting prey.

Here they come, shuffling towards the kitchen, eyes squinted like a just surfaced mole (uttering some inarticulate sounds that could be mole'ish too), groping for the light switch, they find it ...and then, up we spring - "Good Morning, time for coffee - black or white, or, perhaps black and white"?

The look on thier face always tells me that just like me, they appreciate early morning humour....yet another good start to a day full of Feeder life-enhancing obligations.

Next, perhaps, the curtains...?

Haw Ernest! That's a totally great picture of you jumping out to rouse the feeders from their state of slumber.

My Mommie gets up really, really early. Sometimes as early as 4:30 am, and she doesn't even need an alarm clock! But she needs coffee at about 3:00 in the afternoon. That's very silly.

I find that humans usually don't appreciate our early morning greetings!

you look like Adan in that picture a bit!

my human likes it when Castle claws his way under the blanket at 7am - her FAVOURITE day for this to happen is Saturday and Sunday, she really appreciates our help in rousing her cos Monday to friday she usually manages to get up without any help xxx

What a great shot of you Ernest. I think that is a great thing to have some humor in the morning.
Our work is never done... what would they do without our frolicksome cuteness

Happy Day!

Very funny! I wake the staff up by putting my paw on their cheek. First gently, without claws. Then gradually with....
